SportSpot uses only cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary for the site to work. We use no advertising, social media or tracking cookies, and our visit statistics are cookieless. Strictly necessary storage does not need consent (Law 41/2004, article 5), so we do not show a cookie banner.
What we store
• Sign-in session (browser local storage, set by our authentication provider Supabase): keeps you signed in. Kept until you sign out. • Language preference (local storage “lang”): remembers English or Portuguese. Kept until you clear it. • Hosting cookie “__dpl” (set by our host, Lovable): routes your visit to the current version of the site. Session. • Payment cookies “__stripe_mid”, “__stripe_sid” and “m” (set by Stripe): only when you open the payment form, for fraud prevention and secure payment. Up to 1 year / 30 minutes.
Content from other sites
Map tiles (OpenStreetMap, Esri) and photos (Google Maps, Wikimedia Commons) are loaded directly by your browser. These providers receive your IP address to deliver the content but do not set cookies through our site. Our fonts are hosted on our own server.
How to control storage
You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. If you block them, signing in and payments will not work.
